Advice for weaning off Prednisone - Please be very careful and cautious when weaning off prednisone. The one time I was on it, I weaned myself off way too quickly and my adrenal gland almost shut down. My mother was on and off of prednisone most of my life. It always took her a long time to finally wean off the drug.
